LOOK LOOK LOOK!! i'm actually writing on my xanga! this is a rare moment, so take it all in. i thought it might be time for an update :)

first off, i like living in tucson. i get to work. go to school for free. enjoy thursdays off from school and work. love on my family (especially my sis), go to fun concerts with friends that i dont hang out with on a normal basis. get free haircuts. eat good food. and i get to not only take pictures but develop and print them alllll by myself!

so on that note, let me tell you about my photography class. I LOVE IT. my teacher is the head of the photography department at pima and is a prominent photographer in tucson. and she is just a funny woman. then, today in class john schaefer came to present a demonstration of large format cameras.

    (like the one pictured here)
the real old lookin ones. i don’t know if his name sounds familiar to anyone but he is actually a very famous photographer and was close friends with ansel adams. he was even the president of the u of a during the 70’s. anyways, the point is, I have a great photography class. (hella expensive but worth it!)

i am also 20 now…weird. im getting older. hmm…..i made sure to make some good wishes though!

thanks to everyone who called to wish me a happy birthday, i love you all! its a shame you guys missed out on my crazy fun party….except that didn’t happen at all. instead the day was spent with my mom and sister and it was lovely.

these pictures were of my birthday lunch at AJ's....

    i got some birthday truffles!

i am home from baahhhston. an amazing city indeed, where destinations are only footsteps away. and to my surprise quite a peaceful place, more so in some areas than others (and that means wherever the bums dont linger) me, chad, and chris had several lovely walks which became our own little adventures as we discovered streets lined with gorgeous english style houses, a luscious green park, and the boston commons.

me and chris had the pleasure of flying first class. whew! Its so much better than coach. wow…and my favorite part of it all, we were served HOT nuts in a little dish! we were also served meals on every flight and lets not forget about the hot towels! an experience i will never forget.

boston however will be the most memorable. i don’t think i know a cuter pair of brothers than chad and chris. and the three of us together guarantees a great time filled with laughter. we all had so much fun just hanging out, eating really good food, or cooking chilaquiles, playing tetris attack, getting coffee, hanging out at some crazy parties, watching fireworks on the 4th from the top of chads apartment building, visiting a museum, as well as ending our nights and waking up to pillow fights. i miss it all. terribly.

livin it up in first class

bring on the ginger ale and hot nuts! yum!

dear chaddy, would you go sailing with me? dear chaddy...

  • so this past saturday i played B I N G O! it was me, amy, anna, and lauren. we pulled up to this shady building and i was nervous to go in. we entered the smoke filled room where everyone was like 50 years old and up. not to mention they all looked bitter. you could see the look on their faces that they were not happy people. or maybe they just had that look because they were mad at us for talking so loud. nonetheless it was fun. here are a few pictures to make you jealous that you couldnt play bingo with us

now who wouldnt want to be this girls friend?
